ABOUT US
Fun ‘n’ Dance opened its doors in 1993. The founders, Julie Pratt and Louisa Jacobson had recently graduated from the College of the Royal Academy of Dance in London, England and wanted to create a community dance school where students of all ages and abilities could come and dance in a nurturing, safe and inclusive environment.
For over 30 years, the teachers at Fun ‘n’ Dance have carefully fostered a love of dance in countless students and created a warm, welcoming dance community. Our qualified and experienced teachers offer instruction in many different styles of dance for ages 3 through to adults. We pride ourselves on quality instruction emphasizing the importance of a strong technical base and age-appropriate skill progression while always making the learning process fun. We are passionate about dance and recognize that dance classes can positively impact a child/adult’s physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Storybook Ballet
A delightful introduction to ballet specifically curated for children aged 3-4 years old.
Smaller Class Sizes
We offer smaller class sizes to ensure students are getting the attention they require. Assistant teachers are available to help students throughout class time.
Variety of Styles
We offer multi level classes in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, musical theatre, acrobatics, and Ukrainian.
Opportunity for Exams
We offer students the opportunity to participate in both R.A.D or School ballet exams. Tap and jazz exams are also avaliable to students.
Piano Accompaniment
Most of our ballet classes have a talented pianist to accompany the dancers.
Year End Recital
A beautifully produced and professionally recorded studio recital takes place at the end of each year with multiple opportunities for dancers to participate!
